One year postgraduate programme: ADAPTING BUILDINGS TO CLIMATE CHANGE: BIM and Facility Management - in English/French

Meet the challenges of the circular economy !

Climate change is now a well-documented phenomenon recognized by the scientific community.

The construction sector, and in particular the building industry remains one of the main contributors. In this context, it is essential to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions inherent in this activity and reinforce the resilience of the buildings.

Programme Objectives:

  • Implementing an approach designed to limit the environmental impact of the building (reduction of GHG emissions, pooling of uses circular economy, renovation, etc.).
  • Improving the resilience of buildings to climatic hazards
  • Implementation and management of new processes and associated tools (BIM, Facility Management, LCA) to support this transition.

Strengths of the programme:

  • Real-life situations: Through a project supervised by professionals, students must respond in a competitive situation to a a "pre-detail design" invitation to tender. This full-scale project lasts 4 months.
  • Practical work in research laboratory
